Real Madrid put on a dominant display against Celta Vigo tonight at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, securing a resounding 4-0 victory. The home side completely controlled the match, showcasing their attacking prowess.
The game was a one-sided affair from the beginning. Real Madrid had 63% ball possession, and a strong offensive presence. They had significantly more shots on goal (13) than Celta Vigo (1). Real Madrid also dominated in the midfield area, creating numerous chances. The substitutions throughout the match seemed to give Real Madrid an extra edge.
The most exciting moments came in the second half when Real Madrid really turned up the heat, scoring three goals in quick succession. The first came from an own goal by Carlos Dominguez in the 88th minute. Vinícius Júnior also got in on the scoring act, netting a superb goal in the 77th minute, and there was a flurry of additional goals and substitutions in the closing minutes of the game.
Real Madrid clearly came to play. Their approach was attacking, looking to dominate possession and put the pressure on the away team's defense. Celta Vigo, on the other hand, tried to play a more defensive game and utilize counter-attacks, but Real Madrid's superior quality proved too much for them. A big performance from Real Madrid, and a tough night for Celta Vigo.
