Wow, what a match! The Gold Coast Knights have powered to a 1-0 victory over Moreton City Excelsior at the Gold Coast Croatian Sports Centre 1.

The Knights, playing at home, controlled the game from the start, but the first half was a fairly even affair, with both teams trading chances. Then, in the second half, the Knights really stepped up. The highlight was a fantastic goal from M. Walters in the 65th minute. That was a real game-changer.

The approach of the two teams was clear. The Knights were clearly aiming for a high-tempo game, and they effectively suffocated the Moreton City Excelsior's midfield in the second half. Moreton City tried to push for an equalizer, but the Knights' defence was relentless, and ultimately they ran out of steam.
