A dramatic finish saw Lokomotiva Zagreb secure a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Istra 1961 at Stadion Aldo Drosina. It was a closely contested match, with both teams displaying some impressive attacking plays.
Lokomotiva controlled much of the possession in the second half, but Istra put up a strong fight, creating some dangerous opportunities. The key moments came in the final stages of the game. Sammir and I. Tuci scored in the 85th and 90+2nd minutes respectively, sealing the win for Lokomotiva.
Lokomotiva's approach seemed to be centered around a strong midfield presence, aiming to slowly dismantle Istra's defense. Istra, in turn, played a more direct style, relying on quick counterattacks and individual brilliance. Both teams had some substitutions in the second half, which could have contributed to the tense final stages of the game. Yellow cards were shown to a couple of players from both sides as the game went on.
The crowd certainly witnessed a thrilling match, especially in the final minutes!
