What a dramatic finish to this HNL match! NK Osijek pulled off a thrilling 3-2 victory over Lokomotiva Zagreb at Stadion Kranjčevićeva.
The game was a real back-and-forth affair. Osijek, playing with a slightly different formation, managed to score first in the 55th minute with a goal by N. Matas. Lokomotiva, however, fought back strongly. They tied the score in the 54th minute with a goal by F. Karačić. Lokomotiva then took the lead in the 73rd minute with a penalty goal from J. Ćorić. Osijek showed incredible resilience, though. They brought on key substitutes in the 58th and 77th minutes, resulting in a stunning comeback. K. Lulić's goal in the 77th minute put Osijek back in the game. And, in the dying minutes of the match, I. Džolan scored the winning goal in the 88th minute.
Both teams brought different approaches. Osijek seemed to be focused on quick counters, looking to capitalize on their pace. Lokomotiva was a little more methodical in their play, relying on set-piece opportunities. The most exciting moments were definitely the substitutions and the frantic final minutes which saw a dramatic turnaround.
