What a match! Brentford and Nottingham Forest battled it out to a 2-2 draw at Griffin Park, leaving fans on the edge of their seats.
Both teams came out firing. Brentford dominated possession, holding a 70% share of the ball. They had more shots on goal (11), but unfortunately, their shots weren't always on target. Nottingham Forest, despite having less possession (30%), managed to create some serious chances and put in a determined performance. They had 3 offside calls to their name, and some key substitutions seemed to change the game's momentum.
The first half was relatively quiet, with neither side able to break through the other's defense. The second half was a completely different story, as both teams found the back of the net. Brentford’s A. Gray scored a great goal around the 80th minute, with an assist from A. Pritchard. Nottingham Forest quickly responded, netting two goals of their own. T. Walker put Forest ahead and T. Kane got one as well! But with five minutes of extra time, Jota Peleteiro's goal in the 90th minute brought the game level.
The game featured plenty of substitutions, both teams looking to keep their squad fresh and to gain momentum, with notable substitutions affecting the game's course.
A fantastic match overall. The energy and determination from both teams made it a captivating experience for the spectators!
