What a match! CD Motagua dominated Victoria 5-2 in a hard-fought game at the Estadio José de la Paz Herrera Uclés.
Motagua came out firing, with early goals from R. Castillo and A. Auzmendi putting them firmly in the driver's seat. Victoria fought back, however, and managed to pull one back from the penalty spot.
The second half saw more substitutions from both teams. Victoria's strategy seemed to shift a bit, but Motagua's offense proved too strong. More goals from Auzmendi, Mejía, and another penalty, saw Motagua pull away to a 5-2 win by the final whistle. There were a couple of yellow cards which were well-deserved.
Motagua's approach was aggressive and relentless, constantly applying pressure to the Victoria defense. They seemed to have the upper hand in possession, creating several scoring opportunities. Victoria, on the other hand, played with more caution at the start, waiting for their opportunities. Despite this, they battled hard, scoring twice themselves and keeping the match interesting. It was a good game with a lot of fight!
