What a match! CD Marathon pulled off a 2-1 victory over Lobos Upnfm in a nail-biter at Estadio Tiburcio Carías Andino.
Marathon, despite starting a bit slow, really came alive in the second half. Their early pressure finally paid off when J. Rodríguez found the back of the net in the 56th minute. Then, with the clock ticking down, J. Arboleda's goal in the 85th minute sealed the win for Marathon. Lobos Upnfm's R. Padilla managed to score in the 67th, but it wasn't enough to stop Marathon's momentum.
It looked like a tense game throughout. Marathon controlled a significant portion of the match; their attack seemed much more organized and impactful. Lobos Upnfm's defense struggled at times, but they had a period of dominance, giving us a thrilling back-and-forth battle.
