What a thrilling match between the Los Angeles Galaxy and Sporting Kansas City! A 2-2 draw at Dignity Health Sports Park certainly left the fans wanting more.
Both teams came out playing attacking football, but it was the Galaxy who struck first with a goal from M. Cáceres in the 24th minute, nicely assisted by Douglas Costa. Sporting Kansas City responded brilliantly, pulling level through a goal by A. Pulido in the 12th minute, assisted by E. Thommy. The first half ended 1-1.
The second half was a see-saw affair. The Galaxy were relentless in their pursuit of another goal, assisted by a penalty which, unfortunately for them, ended up in the back of the net. They eventually managed to find the net again in the 64th minute, with P. Judd bagging the goal. The visitors fought hard and managed to get the equalizer in the final moments. A penalty in the 90th minute sealed the 2-2 draw. A penalty for the visitors put an exciting end to the game.
