What a game! The Portland Timbers and the San Jose Earthquakes battled to a 1-1 draw in a nail-biting match at JELD-WEN Field.
The Earthquakes started strong, taking the lead with a penalty goal in the first half by C. Wondolowski. Portland pressed hard in the second half, though, with some impressive substitutions boosting their attack. Finally, in the 67th minute, B. Dike scored a brilliant goal for the Timbers, levelling the match!
The most exciting moment? Definitely the final goal! Both teams played an aggressive style, with plenty of chances created by both sides throughout the match. The atmosphere was electric.
The Timbers, clearly looking to turn their season around, showed a determined effort and resilience to pull themselves back from behind. The Earthquakes, who were aiming for a crucial away win, didn't back down in the face of Portland's comeback. A fantastic match, worthy of the final whistle!
